Expression of Interest Form – Broome’s Got Musical Talent 2019
The Broome Civic Centre will be hosting the first ever Broome’s Got Musical Talent in 2019!
Do you have musical talent that you want to share with the community? Whether you’re a solo artist or a band we are looking for amateur musicians that want to be involved!
If you’re keen to join in the fun fill in the expression of interest form and submit to the Broome Civic Centre via broomeciviccentre@broome.wa.gov.au or hand deliver to the Shire of Broome Administration Office (corner of Weld and Haas St) before Wednesday 5th June 2019. Forms received after this date will not be accepted.
Depending of your musical category and your audio requirements we will schedule you for a time and a date on either Saturday 22nd June or Saturday 29th June for both a sound check (during the day) and a performance time (evening). Times and dates will be dependent on the number of registrations.
The final will be held on Friday 5th July, so all contestants need to be available in case they make the final and to support the other contestants.
There will be a pool of judges from a range of community organisations, businesses, schools and youth services organisations. Judging criteria will range from technical ability through to energy.
Prizes are yet to be announced however we have had a few amazing offers from local business. You’ve gotta be in it to win it!

Positive and friendly environment
No swearing or screaming
Performances are NO longer than 10 minutes long
1 artist entry per musical category (depending on number of applicants)
Everyone must be available of the final on Friday 5th July
Applications must be received by Friday 14th June
