Age Recommendation
Broome Civic Centre provides age recommendations for all family performances. This is designed to help children and families get the most out of their experience. We work closely with the creators of the performances to determine a suitable age recommendation, however it is ultimately up to the parent’s discretion.
Babies in Arms
We welcome people of all ages to experience Broome Civic Centre's events, facilities and services. For the majority of events held at Broome Civic Centre, children who have not yet turned two years old may be admitted into an event at no cost and without a ticket. In these cases, children will not be allocated a seat and must be seated on the lap of a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.
Some events do require children under the age of two to be admitted with a ticket - particularly for performances programmed specifically for this age group. If this is the case, this requirement will be clearly stated on the event’s webpage. If you would like further clarification, please check the website or enquire with our team when booking. Broome Civic Centre is a place for everyone in the community to enjoy.
When bringing children to the Centre, we request that you consider the interests and enjoyment of other visitors. Any person (regardless of age) interrupting the enjoyment of other visitors may be asked to leave an event and/or the venue. As per our conditions of entry, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Gift Vouchers
Broome Civic Centre Gift vouchers are a great way to give a gift with a difference and can be purchased online or by calling the Box Office. Gift vouchers can be purchased for any value.

Accessibility
Our friendly staff are happy to assist all our patrons with their requirements.
The Broome Civic Centre can accommodate special requirements including:
- Wheelchair spaces in the theatre, with companion seats, or assistance if you would prefer to sit in a theatre seat.
- Easy access to all of the building for wheelchairs, including the stage and toilets.
- Access to all areas for people with guide dogs.
- Hearing induction loops in the theatres.
