🎸 Battle of the Bands – Entry Guidelines & Application
Presented by the Shire of Broome
The Shire of Broome proudly presents Battle of the Bands – an exciting celebration of musical talent where performers battle it out for glory, community acclaim, and a share in $5,000 prize money!
While this is a youth-focused event, we warmly welcome the whole community to attend and participate.

📅 Date: Saturday, 15 June 2024

🕒 Format:
Each band will perform a set during the evening. The number of finalists and performance duration will depend on total entries. Finalists will be selected for a second round to determine the winners.
🏆 Categories & Prizes
Prize Pool: $5,000
Awards will recognise creativity, performance, crowd engagement and more.
- Overall Winner - $2000
- Overall Runner up - $1000
- Best Youth - $1000
- Best Original Song - $1000
✅ Entry Terms & Conditions
- No entry fee.
- Open to soloists, duos, and bands of any genre.
- Youth Bands must include at least 50% of members under 25 years of age.
- Each act must have a minimum of 4 complete songs prepared.
- All members must attend a mandatory sound check on the morning of the event.
- Participants grant permission for the Shire of Broome to use event photos/videos for promotional purposes.
- Personal details will be collected to administer the event and may be shared with third parties for marketing and publicity related to Shire of Broome programs.
